What you're making
This is a structured, woven AirPod case keychain made from 5-count plastic canvas and thick, soft yarn. It fits AirPods Pro 2, opens and closes with a gold thumb lock clasp, and clips onto your bag with a keychain clip. Because plastic canvas holds its shape, the finished case looks polished and boutique-made, not floppy.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
DIY AirPod case supplies
5-count plastic canvas, cut into one front/back panel and 2 side panels. Our pre-cut plastic canvas for the AirPod case comes ready to weave, so you can skip the counting and cutting.
A small thumb lock clasp. We use our gold metal clasp (thumb lock) in Small, the size made for AirPod cases and mini pouches.
Plus a few things you may already have:
✓ Thick yarn. We used Loops & Threads Cuddle Craft Velvet (chenille). T-shirt yarn works too.
✓ A large-eye embroidery needle.
✓ Stitch markers.
✓ A keychain clip (optional; any keychain with a clip works).
How much yarn you need
Cutting your yarn to length before you start keeps it from tangling and stops you from running short mid-row.
