Craft Night Ideas for Adults: How to Host a Bag-Making Night

Craft nights are the new dinner party. They're low-key, they're a great excuse to put your phone down, and everyone leaves with something to show for it. If you want a craft night idea that feels a little more grown-up than painting a mug, try a bag-making night.

Why a bag-making night works

What you'll need

• One DIY bag kit per person. Each kit has all the bag materials and a video tutorial. Let everyone pick their own color. 
• Scissors, a small screwdriver and a tape measure for each person (or a few to share)
• A TV or tablet to play the video tutorial
• Good lighting and a table with room to spread out

How to set up

1. Send the invite early. Give guests a week or two, and ask them to choose a color so you can order.
2. Set a station for each person. Open each kit ahead of time and lay out the supplies.
3. Put the tutorial on the big screen. Everyone can follow along together and pause when someone needs a minute.
